Occupational Therapy

Aven Therapy takes a gentle, nervous system–first approach to occupational therapy. Ayisha Lewthwaite, blends somatic tools, practical evidence-based strategies and collaborative care to help you participate more fully in your everyday life.

The work isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about creating sustainable shifts you can actually feel in your body and carry into the moments that matter.

Meet Ayisha

Ayisha Lewthwaite is a registered Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting adults through mental health challenges, neurodivergence, chronic pain, trauma, and major life transitions. Her approach is warm, somatic, and deeply human, helping clients feel safer in their bodies, clearer in their minds, and more connected to what matters in their daily lives.

She specializes in perinatal and menopausal support, burnout, nervous-system regulation, and sustainable return-to-work planning.

With gratitude and respect, I acknowledge the privilege I hold as a resident and settler of Treaty 7 Territory. These are the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai Nations), the Tsuut'ina Nation, Iyarhe Nakoda (Bearspaw, Goodstoney and Chiniki Nations) and Metis Nation of Alberta. 1% of profits are donated annually to mutual aid and grassroots programs which focus on improving social inclusion for BIPOC community members.
